It has been a long while since needing to revamp the old website. While I have no updates other than saying that I am working on getting a functional website together, I’ve decided to post the old blog that was on the previous website down below for historical reasons. I hope to bring more functionality to this website over time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not much more to update at this time. Fighting with the website as well as working on a legendary wave of shiny Pokemon. Shiny Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno and Mewtwo from Fire Red is now going through the Ribbon Master challenge. I also included shiny Lapras obtained from Team Rocket\u2019s base and shiny Porygon from the Game Corner. All of these have the Timid nature with 0 in attack and most of the other stats maxed out. With this very specific IV build, it causes the Pokemon in question to be shiny if they aren\u2019t shiny locked. I look very forward to getting these available as well in time. Maybe soon I\u2019ll have the other website running before the end of the year (running into issues that I haven\u2019t ran into on this website!). I finished another group of shiny Pokemon from Colosseum and am now running Fire Red for a change of pace to get a shiny Mewtwo. I am also trying to re-design the website but under a new URL as well as setting up a Shopify site to avoid putting all my eggs into the eBay basket. Unfortunately, the website part has some ambitious goals with me having very little knowledge outside of basic html so I\u2019m struggling with it. I do see this as a very important marketing strategy and allows people outside of eBay to see what I offer so it\u2019ll be worth it. I have finally finished all non-shiny Pokemon ribbon masters from the Colosseum and XD games. It was pretty brutal but I\u2019m very glad those are done. I now need to RNG the remaining shiny Colosseum Pokemon. I\u2019m also debating on combining all ribbon master Pokemon into one eBay listing for ease of discovery; however I\u2019m not entirely sure if this would affect search results positively or negatively. I guess I\u2019ll have to think about it some more. At least now the pathway is open to farm some fresh mons from Colosseum! In the meantime, I decided to have a 50% off sale in lieu of finishing all non-shiny shadow Pokemon for the month of September. Until next time, take care!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I now have 82 ribbons on most of the Pokemon. Only 2 left to go and both of those are the Battle Tree ribbons. This huge group of \u2018mons are almost done and I can\u2019t wait to make them available \ud83d\ude42 Maybe after that, I can focus on revamping the website for a bit before I get the remainder of Pokemon I have yet to catch from the Gamecube and GBA games! Thanks to putting in some good amount of hours, Pokemon XY AND ORAS ribbons are now complete! Now it\u2019s onward to get the final 4 ribbons for each Pokemon on Ultra Moon! Once those are done, I suspect I\u2019ll need to update my Pokemon section of my website as I plan to use that as a quick reference of all the available ones I have (eBay doesn\u2019t do a good job of showing what I have that a webpage has the potential to show). After the website\u2019s been updated, I have to capture some Pokemon Colosseum shinies I do not have yet (I\u2019m looking at you shiny Suicune!) and then onward to Fire Red\/Leaf Green Gen 3 exclusives! Another hiatus from the project for a while. It was pretty draining from doing the Pokemon Amie for that many guys. I did finish it off and am now running them all through the Elite 4 & Champion for that ribbon. I\u2019ve gotten a good chunk of those done already. After this, I just need to get the battle maison ribbons and it\u2019s off to ORAS (NOT looking forward to the contests there). Short update to the point. It\u2019s been quite a while since I\u2019ve updated\u2026 again. The 130ish Pokemon are now working their way through Pokemon X (finished all previous DS ribbons) and just finished up their super training ribbon requirements (beating all 30 modules). I won\u2019t lie when I say I\u2019m a bit exhausted from the project. I\u2019ve been going hard for these past 1 1\/2 years or so and with some releases of some new games, I\u2019ve been needing a break! I just wasn\u2019t expecting how much of a break I needed but it shouldn\u2019t be surprising considering I also have a busy real life outside of this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I scheduled updates so I can follow up a lot more on this project but that doesn\u2019t seem to be working for me lol. I will hopefully not remain too silent for too long this time around but I kinda thought that wasn\u2019t gonna happen last time, didn\u2019t I? Well well well, has it really been this long since an update? I guess so! I\u2019ve played lots of ARK: Survival Ascended for a much needed break but I\u2019ve been also doing some Pokemon related things as well! I now have 130 ish Pokemon that have gotten all of the ribbons from Emerald, Heart Gold and now working on Platinum which is almost done! I did some automation with the days of the week ribbons and Platinum contests (BOY, did this ever save massive amounts of time). I finished the friendship for each Pokemon just a few days ago too! I just need to grind the battle ribbons and then onward to Kalos ribbons! Man, I am filled with anticipation and impatience with this group of \u2018mons. I can\u2019t wait to have them available!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Website will suffer for a while more unfortunately but at least this is somewhat functional. It will be nice once I can get a really nice layout put together. I\u2019d like for the website to have a \u201clast 6 articles posted\u201d Home page but that\u2019ll have to wait :\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve been silent but definitely not idol. One day, I asked myself \u201cWhy am I manually playing a game to get Ribbons on Pokemon for when I could automate these tasks via macros on a computer?\u201d So I spent 4 hours writing a macro to automate the obtaining of the contest ribbons in Emerald. Aside from some troubleshooting, it works ALMOST flawlessly. Huge time saver!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Having this is absolutely great considering the less than favorable news that Nintendo is foreshadowing the shut down of Pokemon Bank. Currently the only way of transferring Pokemon from Black\/White to X\/Y\/US\/UM\/OR\/AS and then Home is through the Transporter and Pokemon Bank apps, both of which use Bank services. All of the Ribbon Masters I am in the process of getting will not be able to be transferred once that shuts down unless a third party tool to do it gets developed. It definitely throws a huge wrench in everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The website\u2019s development will definitely suffer due to this now that I got a time limit. I\u2019m still going to prioritize ARK: Survival Ascended as I\u2019ve been anticipating that game so much despite some of the horrible press surrounding it. It\u2019s been a little while since I updated this! I\u2019m recovering from some food poisoning that kept me up all night long a night ago and has put me on the shelf since. I did manage to finish the first pass of Pokemon XD, RNG grinding a whopping 71 Shadow Pokemon and just finished transferring them over to Pokemon Emerald to continue on the Ribbon Master grinding there. I will be doing 2 more playthroughs to RNG the rest of the Pokemon. I am really looking forward to the release of ARK: Survival Ascended. I think the game is going to look real good especially weather\/water effects. Unfortunately, that\u2019ll slow down the progress of the Pokemon project but I think a balance of the two will be refreshing! Well, I\u2019m hoping I feel better soon. Well I haven\u2019t done much in terms of updating the website. The Pokemon DLC definitely did not help in those matters! I\u2019ve also felt a bit burnt out as of late so I left the Ribbon Master project for about a week or so now. I\u2019ll definitely get back to it but I also need to tell myself to take some breaks. I\u2019ve also experienced a massive amount of sales for the past 90 days. I\u2019m extremely happy that I can provide a service to people that has really taken off. A huge thanks to everyone who has supported me. Very satisfying indeed! It is now the weekend and I am hoping this weekend gives me enough downtime that I can pick up where I left off with Pokemon XD. Take care peeps!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The website is live! While it\u2019s very basic and looks like something I could\u2019ve programmed in basic HTML in Notepad, I\u2019m still happy that the website is live. Eventually, I plan to understand the world of websites a little more so I\u2019m looking forward to being able to incorporate more flashy stuff on here. But for now, we\u2019ll keep it basic. At the time of writing this, I have 43 different kids of Pokemon available on my eBay store and still awaiting the release of ARK: Survival Ascended. I look forward to making more available for people who really want rare genuine Pokemon that are, of course, ribbon masters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
